New Release of the ProcessMaker v. 3.0 (Beta3) – Now Available for Download and Testing

ProcessMaker team is proud to announce the new BETA release which includes some features and bug fixes detailed below.

Remember that this is a BETA release. Do not use this BETA version in a production environment.

Known issues:

  • PM-767 – BPMN Designer Add message list.
  • PM-768 – Add Support for Intermediate Message event(outbound).
  • PM-770 – Add support for Intermediate Message event (inbound).
  • PM-939 – Add support for Start Message event (inbound).
  • PM-950 – Can not access the sum values of grids.
  • PM-977 – Incomplete support for importing & exporting .bpmn files.
  • PM-978 – Incomplete support of Extended XML BPMN schemas to add running artifacts in .pmx files
  • PM-1005 – Refactor Web Entry.
  • PM-1301 – Under Home > Documents, folders can not be moved correctly.
  • PM-1316 – Add support for End Message Event (outbound).
  • PM-1323 – The “Generate BPMN Project” option should not be displayed.
  • PM-1328 – There is no validation of entered values in grid fields.
  • PM-1330 – The order of the conditions in routing rules is not saved.
  • PM-1334 – Inheritance of view in grids does not work.
  • PM-1336 – A default task in the gateways does not require a condition.
  • PM-1340 – Dependent fields are not working properly.
  • PM-1345 – Add marks in BPMN elements to indicate errors or warnings.
  • PM-1346 – Checkbox fields does not render the array with the chosen options.
  • PM-1350 – Error when creating cases in Windows Server 2008R2.
  • PM-1351 – It is possible to see connections through pools.
  • PM-1354 – Connectors are disorganized when moving elements.
  • PM-1358 – Error in Pools and Lanes labels.
  • PM-1360 – Disorganized elements in the subprocess properties.
  • PM-1364 – New designer does not validate the original size expected for a field created in PM Tables.
  • PM-1377 – Tasks and subprocess labels must be required.
  • PM-1384 – Case steps links don’t have actions, it is not possible to navigate through different steps.
  • PM-1400 – Emails are not being sent if using an email account different from the one used in the PMFSendMessage() trigger.
  • PM-1404 – EmailTemplate does not return variables created for the process.
  • PM-1409 – Problems when generating Output Documents in grids.

New features:

  • Added the option “Open Diagram” in the context menu.
  • Grids support.
  • JavaScript support.
  • Variables support.
  • Possibility to export .bpmn files to any other BPMN tool.
  • Added the option “Default Flow”.
  • Gateway to gateway.
  • Steps interface improved.
  • Deleted the element “Timer Start” event.
  • Added the element “End message” event.

Bug fixes:

  • PM-36 – SubForm execution.
  • PM-114 – Error in label grammar.
  • PM-940 – Add support for multiple email server registration.
  • PM-1204 – Process designer session after an inactivity time.
  • PM-1257 – Modify the JSON returned by the endpoint: /api/1.0/workflow/cases/app_uid/variables.
  • PM-1285 – FormDesigner javascript property.
  • PM-1294 – The pm-packager does not generate the index.html file.
  • PM-1297 – It is not possible to create pmtables with forms because the list does not work.
  • PM-1299 – It is not possible to create BPMN process in Window Server 2008 R2.
  • PM-1306 – When installing ProcessMaker the rbac_permissions table is empty.
  • PM-1308 – Creation of boolean variables displays the database connection option.
  • PM-1309 – Error importing a process.
  • PM-1313 – When entering the Input Document option, the header of the process designer is lost.
  • PM-1326 – ProcessMap in the case options does not show which flow was fulfilled.
  • PM-1327 – It is not possible to execute the backup, restore, upgrade, unify, etc. commands in ProcessMaker workflows.
  • PM-1329 – By adding a row to a grid, data type fields get lost.
  • PM-1333 – Assignment Rules option is not displaying if using IE10.
  • PM-1338 – Step Properties does not respect.
  • PM-1343 – Suggest fields are not working.
  • PM-1346 – Checkbox fields does not render the array with the chosen options.
  • PM-1355 – View options in the tasks of the case history does not show the corresponding DynaForm.
  • PM-1356 – The “Open diagram” option inside the subprocess is not working.
  • PM-1361 – The “Delete” option inside the context menu is not working.
  • PM-1379 – It is difficult to move or relocate the pool inside the designer area.
  • PM-1383 – If using the Inclusive gateway the routing is not respected.
  • PM-1385 – ProcessMaker Task List is not working.
  • PM-1388 – Boolean variables does not validate required fields.
  • PM-1392 – User session control does not work.
  • PM-1393 – A process cannot be imported if one of the task does not have a title assigned.
  • PM-1397 – In the assignment rule window there is no a scroll when there are many data.
